Nestle Philippines Assures Safety of Milk Products

I got an email from Nestle’ Philippines related to the China-melamine milk scare that’s happening now in the country. Here goes:
Nestlé Philippines assures consumers that Nestlé products manufactured, imported, distributed and marketed by Nestlé Philippines are safe for consumption.
The Company issued the statement in response to radio and TV reports that mentioned some Nestlé products being pulled out for melamine testing. The products mentioned are CARNATION Calcium Plus Non-Fat, NESTLE Choco-Flavored Ice Cream Cone, NESTLE Vanilla-Flavored Ice Cream Cone, NESPRAY, NESTLE Dairy Farm Pure Milk, and KLIM Instant Full Cream Milk.
Nestlé Philippines Director of Communications Sandra Puno said the six above-mentioned products are not sold in the Philippines. “It is possible, however, that these products have been brought to the Philippines by unauthorized parallel importers.”
Nestlé Philippines said it fully supports the BFAD efforts to test various products to determine melamine levels, and expressed confidence that the above-mentioned products, if truly from Nestlé, do not contain milk adulterated with melamine.
According to Nestlé, raw materials for its milk products currently manufactured and distributed in the Philippines come from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States. The Company locally produces milk products under the brand names NIDO, BEAR BRAND, NESLAC, NESTOGEN, NESVITA, and NESTLÉ. Nestlé also imports as finished goods NAN 1 from the Netherlands, NAN 2 and 3, from Switzerland, and NAN HW 1 and 2 from Germany.
“Nestlé milk products are manufactured under high quality control standards and meet all regulatory standards before they are released to the local market. Nestlé thoroughly routinely analyses all raw materials to ensure that they comply with Nestlé standards as well as other internationally recognized standards for food quality and safety,” Puno said.
“The safety of our consumers is of utmost importance to us, so once again, Nestlé Philippines would like to assure its consumers that all its milk products in the Philippines are safe for consumption,” Puno reiterated.

How to Get your Adsense Payment in Western Union
First, this is a happy day. Obviously, I got yet another payment from Google Adsense (see, they really pay, I love them! hehe!)

If you’re new to this, and you’re clueless as to how you could get your adsense earnings at Western Union, here’s how:
1. Get the payment details Google Adsense will be sending you. They will send it if you get the required $100. The payment detail is on the “Payment History” part of your Adsense dashboard, and it has the following info: payment type, payment date, money transfer control number, payment amount, and the sender’s information (that’s Google Inc.). Print it, or copy the details.
2. Head to the nearest (or the most far, whatever rocks your boat) Western Union Bank.
3. Get a “receive money” form. That’s the yellow one, and then fill up the form with your details. Then on the “sender” part, write the information sent by Google. Give the filled-up form to the Western Union people, withyour ID (2 IDs are usually required but if you already have an “account” at the Western Union branch, just one ID is enough).
That’s it.. Wait for the Western Union personnel to hand you the money. Finished in three simple steps!
Hope this helped! Til our next payday!
