No Classes Tomorrow for Public Elementary and Highschools

Attention students from public elementary and high schools: You don’t have to go to school tomorrow!

You can now play all day, or help around at home (yes, you can do it!), or baby your kittens or dogs and let them sleep all day in pet beds. Hehehe! Anyway, on to the news…

No classes in public elementary and high schools tomorrow, October 26, according to the Department of Education! This is to at least give a day off for teachers who served in today’s Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections to rest.

Okay, I got this one from GMA news, where they quoted deped’s twitter account saying:

“Classes (are) suspended in all public elementary (and high schools) nationwide tomorrow, Oct 26, in consideration of teachers’ efforts who served as BETs (Board of Election Tellers).”

Also, as GMA posted, for clarification, you may call the DepEd office at (02) 6361663.
