Okay, I know this is nothing showbiz-related (well, a bit pala) but allow me to greet one of my fave cousins a super happy birthday.

Yes, that’s us in the photo… He’s in character for a play. Too cute for words. Haha.

Ryan’s with PETA and I think he just got citations for his work in Batang Rizal. He did the costume design. You might wanna catch the plays he’s in, including Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang. You might also wanna support his band, “Twirl Acoustic”.

Philip Salvador is in the running to become the next President of the Actors’ Guild of the Philippines.

The actor, the Best Supporting Actor of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2008, is said to be the most likely to lead the race, although I have no clue who his competitors are. sorry, tao lang, may mga di alam. lol. Elections are this January, though.

Outgoing President is Pagsanjan Mayor George Ejercito, Jr.

Valerie’s a repeater… having graced the said men’s mag cover in February 2007. If you cant get enough of Valerie, she’s also in Banana Split.

Supermodel and beauty queen (Miss Earth, if i remember it right), Carlene Aguilar exudes the “hot” in the cover of FHM’s January 2009 edition. The sexy mom looks fierce in her striped bikini, and inside a half full aquarium (without the fishes though).

Carlene became a household name after getting linked with actor Dennis Trillo with whom she has a son. She somehow entered showbiz via an ABS-CBN dance show program, then moved to GMA 7 via Celebrity Duets. She will soon be seen in the kapuso network’s latest teleserye offering, Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Tadyang (starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera).
