Two Children need P50,000 each for life-saving operation
Two angels need our help… and they need just P50,000 each to undergo a lifesaving operation.

They’re Arvie Nery, 12, and Warren Abunda, 3. Both have completed the requirements at the charity services of the Philippine Heart Center, and would be scheduled for operation the moment they have the money.
I read it from Kuya Roy’s blog, and thought of spreading the word too.
To quote,
“Arvie Nery, 12 who resides in Paranaque city and Warren Abuda, a three-year old baby who lives in a squatter area in Penafrancia, Antipolo City. Arvie was born with a hole in his heart called ventricular septal defect (VSD), while Baby Warren is also suffering from a similar congenital hole in the hearth called atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD).”
For those who would like to help Baby Warren or Arvy Nery, kindly send your donations to: Operation Damayan Philippine Star; Metro Bank Port Area Branch; Account number 15130-4161-6229; Swift Code MBT CPH MM. You may also contact The STAR’s Melita Dioso at telephone number 527-7777.

Free Seminar for Riders
Attention people!
If you value your life and the others, you might wanna take advantage of the free motorcycle riding safety seminars being conducted by the Honda Safety Driving Center.
The seminars are offered on Tuesdays, from 3 to 4 pm at the Honda Safety Driving Center. Limited seats, at 50 riders per run, “regardless of the morotcycle brand being used”.
So do reserve a slot. Here’s their contact number:
Honda Safety Driving Center
Customer Service
Km 17 East Service Road, South Superhighway, Parañaque City
Tel No: 838-0814
Mobile no. (0928) 555-5695
It’s good that there are companies doing this as part of their CSR program. Personally remember having witnessed an actual “accident” where this one rider (who even had his girlfriend, hmmn, not sure about that, but a woman as his backseat passenger). They hit this one mini-van, and got injured. Good thing we were having our tree-planting session that time, and we have our doctor there.. Plus, there were a lot of police and traffic enforcers so they received all the help they could get.
Again, riders, take advantage of this free opportunity!
