Francine is Back

This morning’s celebrity news is kinda sad, yet okay. It’s about sexy comedian Francine Prieto being helped by her showbiz friends. Her dearest mom’s sick with cancer, and she needs to raise a million peso for the medical expenses.

It’s really heartwarming that there are friends who are more than willing to help in time of need. Cancer is no joke, and if you got no insurance coverage or health card, it would be harder (so you should go get life insurance quotes and health cards, asap!).

But at least Francine is getting jobs na — since the start of the Chinese New Year (that’s according to her, of course). Hope her mom gets well, and for her to have her career back on track.

Dingdong and Marian, from Madrid with love

Kapuso love is in the air…

On-screen and real life love team Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are back from their trip to Madrid. The two spent their valentines day there, together with Marian’s Spanish dad. When asked whether there really was a “pamamanhikan” — the lady keeps her mouth shut, and just says that they’re happy with what happened in Madrid (which most like translates to something good, yihee).

Anyway, Marian’s fantaserye, Darna, is on its last week — that means fans would no longer get to see her sexy bod (hehe, no treatment for body acne is needed for that, she’s naturally smooth) and her fighting skills as she battles it out with her gazillion equally pretty villains.

But, I believe fans will be delighted that she’s have another teleserye coming — Endless Love, if im not mistaken, opposite the love of her life, Dingdong.

Lady Kim Chiu

Teen queen Kim Chiu is looking a lot more pretty these days…

I cant really identify what it is about her that changed… she looks far from how she was during her Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition stint (which will have another run soon!).

It could be her skin — she probably had the best face creams of Belo smothered on her. hehehe… or could be her skin too — she’s become “whiter” than Gerard Anderson… or maybe, she just lost all those baby fats. Anyway, whatever it is she’s doing, it’s good. lol. Just need to put on a little more weight.

Kim Chiu is on “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”, opposite Gerard (and Coco Martin).

Richard Gomez, Disqualified

Actor Richard Gomez has been disqualified to run as Congressman in Leyte’s fourth district.

Issue is connected with him not having lived in the area for at least a year which is a requisite for anybody wanting to be in Congress… but of course, Goma wont let this just die down, he is out to prove that he is indeed a resident of Ormoc (his wife, Lucy Torres’ place).

His opponent questions his house in the metro but he argues that it’s just like many other congressmen who also have houses here since they have work here.

Anyway, he said he’ll still fight — “fair and square”… so that we have to wait and see.

Richard Gomez ran as Senator (and lost) in the last election.

PS: I bet now, all searches would have to be about politicians since the election is nearing. It’s like an automatic seo software, type election 2010, and your hits go up (or maybe not).
