Pacquiao versus De La Hoya. This is it!

Today’s the day all Pinoys (and boxing afficionados) have been waiting for. It’s the fight of the millenium, heck, the fight of the century.

I think this one’s crucial cause it’s Manny’s make or break battle… If he wins, well and good, we’ll all be rejoicing like mad, but if he loses… hmnn, I dont even wanna think about it. Just hope that’s it’s not gonna signal the beginning of a boxing career going downward spiral.

So, like the rest of the Filipinos all over the world, here’s wishing Manny all the luck (and love) in the world.

Box and hit De La Hoya the way ball lock pins “lock” and it’s gonna be a win! Goodluck!!!

Cutie Pinay American Idol finalist Ramiele Malubay is set to arrive in Manila this December for a two-night concert with Ogie Alcasid.

The concert, which will be held at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City on December 20 and 21 will also feature the Pinoy Idol singers, as well as indie rock outfit, Menaya. In an interview, Ogie said something like he wanted this concert cause he want something to happen to the Pinoy Idols, and not be left out… or not be moving companies, moving from one network to another (italicized, my personal guess)… and I think that’s sweet and selfless of Ogie.

I know this is a bit of an old news — Karylle singing our National Anthem at Las Vegas this coming December 6 for the Pacquiao-De La Hoya fight…

What’s new is that Karylle’s ex, Dingdong Dantes, will be watching the event, along with the GMA Network executives, to support Manny Pacquiao…

… or maybe, there’s another reason for Dingdong to watch the “show”.
