If you are, you might wanna prepare your resume and check out the job fair that will be held on April 14 and 15.  It’s at the Manila Ocean Park in Manila (behind the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park). Reports say there’d be a hundred jobs available… for the restaurant and for their newly opened hotel, i believe.

Pinoys Needed in Alberta, Canada

… cause there’s one great opportunity out in Alberta, Canada for you!

The Department of Labor and Employment signed an agreement with Alberta’s Ministry of Employment and Immigration, a partnership that would help recruit and deploy our overseas Filipino workers in their locale… and they initially need about 10,000 Filipinos! That’s 10,000 Pinoys with jobs and 10,000 families and extended families that would be fed!

They’re looking for skilled workers, and the salary is being reported to go as high as 6,000 Canadian dollars (US$5,700) for the highly skilled welders, and 3,800 Canadian dollars (US$3,600) for pipe fitters. Wow, macho money for macho men!

That’s how hardworking Filipinos are.. jobs are offered to us, because we know how to get things done… because…

MIS Specialist

Requirements:
Male; 22-30 years old
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Must have programming experience.
Knowledge in different software / system applications (i.e. SAP / ERIC system or the like) a definite advantage;
Solid IT background and excellent hardware, software & networking troubleshooting skills;
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in troubleshooting, system back-ups, maintenance & administration of servers or in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledgeable in hardware & software installation, testing, operation & local area network concepts & fundamentals and proficient in Microsoft Operating System;
Possess capability in handling various software product communication utilities;
Highly organized, systematic & self-motivated and must be able to generate reports as needed;
Willing to work in Binondo;
Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
