The Francis M and Ely Buendia Album

I dont know who said this but it has been my favorite quote since… Anyways, in connection, two of the country’s music superstars, Master Rapper Francis Magalona and Rockstar Ely Buendia, are collaborating for an album, for a cause.

Diane Ventura (Ely’s manager and partner), in a GMA report, said that the two had already recorded their first song.

The album’s sort of gonna be a ticket for them to start a foundation for other musicians who might get sick… It’s something Francis M wants, which is very commendable considering the fact that he’s going through something right now… It’s really very selfless on his part to do this, so I say we should all get a copy of the album once it gets out.

Check your Hamilton watches or whatevs, it’s not gonna be long for sure and we’ll all have a chance to help them out as well…

Jam 88.3, KBP’s Best FM Radio Station

So that’s what a golden dove looks like… looks really, really precious!

After being one of the web award finalists, JAM 88.3 got recently recognized as the Best FM Radio Station by the KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas on it’s 17th Annual KBP Golden Dove Awards. According to Jam, it’s a culmination of years of painstakingly building a brand that saw a need for the new generation to make its mark.

Through the years, Jam continuously commits to giving us listeners quality entertainment (background voice: “the way it should be”)… and one more, the station promises to give a voice to the new generation (that’s me, i guess..hehe!), so it may continue to be a part of the future.

So here’s a message from Jam 88.3…

“We would like to share the award with those who continue to help and believe in us. We thank you for your support! 5 years of YOUR KIND OF MIX… and counting JAM 88.3.”

Gary V, Live at 25 Concert

Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano will be having a concert, Live at 25, on November 14 and 15 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Guests include Jericho Rosales, Rachelle Ann Go, Rivermaya, Sugarfree, Powerplay, and PDA grand star dreamers Yeng Constantino and Laarni Lozada… and super dance performers the Maneuvers, the Philippine All Stars, and G-Force.

Making it more special are his children, Paolo, Gabriel, and Kiana, who are also among the guests.

Star Records will also be releasing a Gary V tribute album called GV25, featuring 25 of his biggest hits, as interpreted by 25 of the finest artists in town.

Mon Faustino is the Musical Director and Rowell Santiago, the Director.

Sarah Geronimo, The Next One Concert

Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo’s sure on fire this year…

After her super successful movie with fafa John Lloyd, A Very Special Love; her new album “Just Me”; and her duet with my fave Backstreet Boy Howie D, she’s now got a big big concert!

Sarah will be having a concert entitled, The Next One, on November 8 (8pm), at the Araneta Coliseum. Director would be the Johnny Manahan lang naman. Heavy! Musical Director is Louie Ocampo.

Concert’s produced by Viva Concerts and Events.

The Garmin GPS says Sarah fans must unite and be at the Araneta Coliseum on 11-08-08! Be there!
