Love Kcat

She’s Kcath Yarza.
I do not know her personally but here’s hoping that through this little post, I would be able to do something for a fellow blogger.
First heard about her from my mom, who heard about her from her officemate — who is her mom. I am featuring her because she is super strong, and a lot of us could gain a lot of strength from her… draw inspiration from her.. and be like her — optimistic, cheerful, and full of strength.
Let me quote from her blog:
I’m sick & can’t do a lot of things.. But that doesn’t hinder me from living, being happy, & doing the things I want that I can.. Art is my passion.. Using my creative skills makes me happy.. My left hand is paralyze & I am left-handed.. But our hand id just a tool, my brain is working (with the tumors. haha) beside I stil have a spare hand.. My right.. Haha! And most of all, thanks to my computer! I could do A LOT everytime I’m infront of the PC..
She sells stuff to help herself… she’s got cellphone charms, t-shirts, wristbands, and posters (the poster’s above, and some others, below). I hope you could give her some lovin love by clicking here to get to her blog, kcatyarza.com…

TACK is KCAT…

Gary Granada versus GMA Kapuso Foundation

Award-winning musician Gary Granada airs his grievances over GMA Kapuso Foundation’s alleged use of his words and melody for the foundation’s 3pid Handog Edukasyon Jingle.
Gary, who got even more famous after having won in the MetroPop Song Festival (shown in GMA, if I remember it correctly), was asked by GMA Foundation to “create” a study based on a given lyrics. Of course, he made revisions to the lyrics to suit his “vision” for the song, put a tone to it, only to be rejected by the foundation. But that’s not where things had gone mad. Apparently, GMA Foundation passed the “work” to another composer BUT they most likely have given them the study made by Gary… and there are, apparently, a lot of similarities between the original study made by Gary and the one aired by GMA. Hmmnn…
Now, GMA said it was a collective effort… and to think that they even have campaigns against piracy (as Gary also mentioned). He said we’d all be like condoling stealing if we allow the Foundation (and Procter & Gamble) to get away with this.
He calls on people to air their views and concerns, to support his plea.
Go Gary!!!

Pinay YouTube Singers Rin on the Rox on Ellen?
Thanks to YouTube, Pinoys are getting recognized internationally…
After Arnel Pineda (who’s now the Journey lead) and Charice Pempengco (who has sung her way to Ellen and then Oprah, and then all over America), two lovely Pinays are set to become more famous than they are now.
They’re Erin and Roxanne, collectively, they’re known as Rin on the Rox.
They’re invited by no less than Ellen Degeneres to appear on her show (saying she’s got a beautiful bathroom there, lol… since the bathroom serves as the girls’ “stage”)… Here’s the clip:
Kewlness… Check out more of their vids at their YouTube page here *click me*!
