SLR

I think I would wanna upgrade from digital cameras and buy an SLR.. but of course, I have to save up for it.
I’m a wannabe photographer. Hehehe… and ve been using my trusty old Olympus digital camera for years now (that picture beside, I took with it)… and though Im satisfied with my shots, I feel there would be more “artistic feel” to it if Id use a more professional camera. So right now, Im on the lookout for which model to buy, and which would be easier to my pocket hahaha. Ive been doing research and realize its just between canon and nikon.
Anyway, goodluck to me saving. :p
Free Ipad
Who wants one?
Well, not to be meanie but I doubt if there’s anybody who’s willing to give out an ipad for nothing, especially now.
I read from yuga that Apple has probably started shipping the gadget, but for us here in the Philippines, you would have to at least spend around 30-40k for a 16gb wifi version. Personally, I think that’s cheap especially since I envision it to be a laptop, like a large version of my phone where you could just tap and presto, you got facebook, youtube, and all… but if you do not live in a wifi-zone, well oh well. Goodluck na lang. Also, it could be a waste of money since there are already gadgets like this one. Or maybe not.
Anyway, who knows… maybe the Ipad coming out will revolutionize the way we use computers. You know, just like what happened to beepers when mobile phones came out. Let’s just wait and see when gadget freaks start posting their Ipad reviews online.
… but i would love a free ipad. :p
Inhale, Exhale
“Every living being depends upon breathing, and cessation of breathing is cessation of life. From the first cry of the infant to the last grasp of a dying person, there is nothing but a series of breathes”
This one’s from the Yoga book, “Yoga for Health”, i got for free when I signed up for class. I decided to share it here cause I think it’s very important to do proper breathing exercise… to improve one’s health.
Especially now, because of the extreme heat we have now, a lot are having breathing problems… because of polluted air, people even need a dehumidifier to clean it all out and breathe well.
I enrolled in yoga primarily to learn proper breathing.. just that… I feel everything else will follow once I master that.
TriMona
Have you tried healthy dining?
If you’re in the mood to try authentic, home-cooked healthy food, go ahead and visit TriMona (yes, a spin-off of the mall TriNoma), over at PGX 112 Anonas Ext., Sikatuna, Quezon City. It’s a bit of an artsy-nationalistic kind of restaurant, and I got there cause the chief cook and manager’s my yoga classmate.
They serve everything, from salads to meals. It was dinner so I opted for adobong manok (healthier version) served with brown rice, pandan juice, and the super delicious coconut ice cream for dessert. Yummy!
Try it and you’ll never gonna need to get an instant life insurance quote… well, i take it back, all the more you need, cause you’re gonna live a longer life. hehe.
