Jam 88.3’s on a roll!

So that’s what a golden dove looks like… looks really, really precious!

After being one of the web award finalists, JAM 88.3 got recently recognized as the Best FM Radio Station by the KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas on it’s 17th Annual KBP Golden Dove Awards. According to Jam, it’s a culmination of years of painstakingly building a brand that saw a need for the new generation to make its mark.

Through the years, Jam continuously commits to giving us listeners quality entertainment (background voice: “the way it should be”)… and one more, the station promises to give a voice to the new generation (that’s me, i guess..hehe!), so it may continue to be a part of the future.

So here’s a message from Jam 88.3…

“We would like to share the award with those who continue to help and believe in us. We thank you for your support! 5 years of YOUR KIND OF MIX… and counting JAM 88.3.”

PDA Little Dreamers on Going Bulilit

That’s PDA’s Philip and Aaron with Chubs (Kungfu Kids and Dyosa) in the picture.

Moving on, the top three little dreamers of the Pinoy Dream Academy — Philip, Amy, and Aaron, are now in Going Bulilit. I knew it! I predicted it — psychic na ko. hahaha!

Anyways, Amy and Aaron are still not in the show’s opening billboard where Philip was featured dancing ala-Pulp Fiction.

Philip’s still a bit shy, though.. but he looks really naughty… plus, I’d say Amy’s a natural.

Sunday Gospel

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 25,14-30.

It will be as when a man who was going on a journey called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them.

To one he gave five talents; to another, two; to a third, one–to each according to his ability. Then he went away. Immediately
the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five.

Likewise, the one who received two made another two.

But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master’s money.

After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them.

The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five. He said, ‘Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.’

His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’

(Then) the one who had received two talents also came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more.’

His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.’

Then the one who had received the one talent came forward and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a demanding person, harvesting where you did not plant and gathering where you did not scatter; so out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground. Here it is back.’

His master said to him in reply, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant and gather where I did not scatter?

Should you not then have put my money in the bank so that I could have got it back with interest on my return?

Now then! Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten.

For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.’

John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano Kissing Scene

Mga bading, magfiesta! (Gays, celebrate!)

There are talks that John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano will be having a kissing scene in their upcoming film. Yep, the two will do the brokeback thing, and i hope it’s more than a smack. Hahaha!

Anyway, I think both guys would be laughing hard doing the shoot — i dunno, i just have this feeling that they’re both fun guys… and that when this movie’s done with the shoot, and they’ll be promoting, the two would just “play” with the press, and act giddy. Hmmnn..

And one more thing… Will Luis’ mom, Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, be there to watch the “soon-to-be controversial” scene? — cause she’s there in the movie too.
