Pinay is Asia Pacific Sudoku Queen
Sudoku addicts, beat this!
A fourteen year-old Filipina, Sarah Jane Cua, has won the Sudoku Challenge in Singapore. This young Pinay won in the Grand Sudoku Challenge Asia Pacific Open, over about 50 Sudoku challengers from seven other countries in Asia.
Wow, imagine how good this teener must be in Math, and how fast she is, to be able to beat those other Sudoku addicts.
For Pinoys who are not in the Sudoku loop, it’s a logic game, more like a board game, with numbers and spaces where you have to fill a 9X9 grid with numbers 1-9, without repeating them. You have to be really analytical, and a bit good with numbers to fill the whole box.
Some local broadsheets and tabloids have Sudoku puzzles so try one after you’ve read the whole paper… or there are online sudoku games like in websudoku.com.
Who knows, you could be the next Sudoku Master!
