Bebe Ko Ringtone

you changed my life

Was finally able to watch the “You Changed My Life” movie featuring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. Ang cute! :D

Okay, I also saw “A Very Special Love”… at home ( home theatre seating
— no, the home theater’s a wishful thinking! hehe..) and just to compare, I think this new movie has more depth, as the first one is a bit more tender…. and it’s what the story needs, considering that here, Miggy and Laida are already in a relationship (it’s complicated? :D).

My fave part of the movie is Miggy’s reaction to the “power hug”, and Laida’s “breakdance” near the end of the movie.

For those in the look out for the “Bebe Ko” ringtone they share in the movie, it’s said to be now available to all smart, globe and sun subscribers. Here are the codes:

Text TRU BEBE1 to 2366 (to get Miggy’s “bebe ko”)
Text TRU BEBE2 to 2366 (to get Laida’s “bebe ko”)

Or maybe you could just record your own to make it much more “personalized”.

Twilight, Pinoy version

Get ready for Twilight, Pinoy style…

twilight

or maybe not.

Cause it’s not gonna happen.

Fans are outraged about the issue that there’s even a petition against a local Twilight.

Rumors about the local version of the movie, based on a super hit novel (of the same title) spread like wildfire these past few days, but the “main players” dismissed it.

Shaina Magdayao and Rayver Cruz, both rumored to play the move leads, were apparently both surprised. Equally shocked was Ms. Cathy Garcia-Molina, the “supposed” director of the movie. She said it’s not true, cause she’s busy with the second serving of the super hit “A Very Special Love”, which stars John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo.

** Speaking of which, I just bought a video of A Very Special Love yesterday. Hehehe. Sun dance! What’s next? Sundance Film Fest? :D

The Next One

Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo’s sure on fire this year…

After her super successful movie with fafa John Lloyd, A Very Special Love; her new album “Just Me”; and her duet with my fave Backstreet Boy Howie D, she’s now got a big big concert!

Sarah will be having a concert entitled, The Next One, on November 8 (8pm), at the Araneta Coliseum. Director would be the Johnny Manahan lang naman. Heavy! Musical Director is Louie Ocampo.

Concert’s produced by Viva Concerts and Events.

For tickets, call their office at 687-6181. Prices start at PhP 315 all the way up to PhP 3150.

The Garmin GPS says Sarah fans must unite and be at the Araneta Coliseum on 11-08-08! Be there!

PS: I think Sarah’s blooming. She’s super cute these days!

John Lloyd is Armando in I Love Betty La Fea

The mystery man’s been revealed… now it can told. John Lloyd Cruz is Armando.

It’s not a surprise that John Lloyd is Armando in the Philippine franchise of Betty La Fea, “I Love Betty La Fea”. He is really the best guy for the role… and for many reasons.

John Lloyd is Bea Alonzo’s perennial onscreen partner. They have a solid foundation, and for a massive project like Betty La Fea, the kapamilya network, ABS-CBN, would benefit more from the tandem — proven, and with a super solid fan-base.

John Lloyd is the best fit for Bea in terms of looks. Not saying that John Lloyd would match Bea ala Betty (cause he’s super good-looking), but Bea has this frame that matches Papa Lloydee’s.

John Lloyd has proven himself to be versatile. And with the success of his most recent movie, A Very Special Love, he’s proven that he could do really really well in a romantic-comedy… cause it seems I Love Betty La Fea’s gonna be one fun ride.

ABS-CBN’s Marketing group’s a genius for keeping John Lloyd as Armando a mystery. Having kept it a mystery allowed Papa Lloydee to shine as himself in his last film, with the very charming Sarah Geronimo. Plus, they’ve created a hype already, having people guessing who’s who, when it’s obvious who’s gonna be who.

PS: Bea and Papa Lloydee really look good together, dont you think?
