I am addicted to this koreanovela…

Im not one to like cheesy korean love stories, but lately, Ive been seeing myself drawn to this abs-cbn drama. It’s a re-run, I understand, but it’s only now that I came to discover how cute the show is — along how cool-looking the actors are. Hehehe.

Have never seen the original one — the one played by this long-haired girl (sorry, dont know the name) so I really have no clue what’s gonna happen — who will end up with jandi, after all her troubles. I want her to end up with Jihoo, but Im guessing she will be with Junpyo.

Anyway, my dilemma is that Boys Over Flowers is being shown so late at night I might end up having to go get acne medication for sleeping so late. lol. Pimples might just pop out — although it’s not a problem right now — but how about the others.

Oh, i wish there’s a dvd I could buy so I could watch this one and not have to wait for it on TV. I’m on a health and wellness mantra pa naman for 2010. :p

Willie Revillame has a Mall

Willie Revillame has really gone big!

First, the multi-million peso homes… then the yacht. now, he’s got his very own 10-storey building being put up across ABS-CBN’s ELJ Communications Center. It is reportedly tagged at 400 million pesosesoses, and will house a mall, a theater, a studio.. and where office spaces can be rented. Willie will be living there too (and working!), at the Penthouse, of course.

Juday and Maria on I Will Survive

Diamond Star Maricel Soriano and Judy Anne Santos renewed their contract with ABS-CBN. The contract signing happened last Thursday.

Maria is currently working on her horror film, T2, directed by Chito Rono under ABS-CBN’s film outfit, Star Cinema… and of course, we have yet to see Florinda, her tv comeback, which is part of the Susan Roces Cinema Collection (after Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara with Kris Aquino, and Maligno with Claudine Barretto).

Juday, on the other hand, signed a two-year contract as a kapamilya.

Karylle Transfers to ABS-CBN

Yup, that’s exactly what Karylle’s gonna be doing — moving from kapuso network GMA to kapamilya ABS-CBN. She’s also now under a new talent management service, STAGES, which has been sealing the deal with Karylle’s new mother network.

The Philippine Entertainment Portal is the first to confirm the report, and they even released an official statement from STAGES. To quote a few:

“Karylle is very grateful to GMA-7 for all the opportunities the network has given her. GMA-7 has been behind her success since the early years of her career.

“Galvante wishes her the best, and leaves the door open if she decides to return to GMA-7 someday.

“Karylle will finish her commitments in GMA-7 including her appearances on SOP, Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5, and her singing the Philippine National Anthem at the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar de la Hoya boxing match at Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6.

“Karylle, warmly welcomed by ABS-CBN executives Cory Vidanes and Deo Endrinal, will be seen in ABS-CBN’s musical variety shows, and soap operas. She is set to record a new album, and reprise her critically-acclaimed portrayal of Maria in STAGES’ production of hit Broadway musical, West Side Story, in 2009.”

Anyway, I dont wanna talk about Dingdong Dantes (oops, I just did, haha.. he’s a good guy too.). Ako, I love Karylle. I think she’s nice, so I really wish her well. (Plus, my mama’s a Padilla so bonus point for that.. lol). Maybe she’ll do ASAP with her mom, Zsazsa Padilla.

Could be a blessing in disguise, for all we know.
