Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin… What’s the Score?

There were buzz that Luis Manzano forbids Angel Locsin to have kissing scenes with her leading men. Of course, there’s no truth to this, as even Luis maintains that (more like, implies) that it’s been part of Angel’s job as an actress so he would not interfere.

So, props to Luis for letting Angel have her way.. not too many men do that. That means he is secure enough to allow Angel to do things as she pleases, and we think that’s kinda sweet (like she could still kiss Papa Piolo Pascual the way they did in Lobo). Awww.

Or maybe, that is so, so Luis could also kiss goddess Anne Curtis in Dyosa. Just kidding.

There are also reports that Luis has been turning all serious of late. Angel’s influence? Could be, cause Luis is said to have been getting all serious because he wants to be serious for his future wife.

If Luis and Angel are really an item, which they have yet to confirm, then we’re happy for Luis. He’s nice, but it seems that all the girls he’s been linked before (those he courted, like Toni Gonzaga, according to rumors) are all now with other men. Now, with Angel (if ever true), he could have his happy ending.

Good things come to those who are patient. Hehe.

Marian Rivera - John Lloyd Cruz Movie?

Will Marian Rivera and John Lloyd Cruz be doing a movie together?

Cause if reports in Pinoy tabloids are to be believed, this is a possibility. Latest showbiz buzz is that the two are going to tie up in a movie, part of the deal, since Regal’s Mother Lily supposedly allowed Angel Locsin to play part in a Star Cinema movie (we think this is the one with Piolo Pascual).

Meaning, Mother Lily allowed Angel in exchange for John Lloyd appearing in a Regal film with GMA kapuso network princess Marian Rivera.

Hmmnn.. could be a sweet tandem since John Lloyd’s proven himself as an “independent” actor already (that he could get people to see him even without his eternal onscreen partner Bea Alonzo), especially now that he proved he could do another box office hit with A Very Special Love, opposite Sarah Geronimo.

We think the two, Marian and John Lloyd, would look good on screen together… so if ever the rumors are true, things would get pretty interesting down the kapuso-kapamilya mergers.

So what’s the team up gonna be called then?

Marloyds? Lloydrians? Marjohns?

Hehehe.

Will it be Papa Piolo?

Kapamilya network ABS-CBN sure is enjoying this mystery ala guessing game they’re trying to play with the fans cause til now, we still are not certain who’s gonna play Armando, that’s the guy opposite Bea Alonso’s character, Betty, in I Love Betty La Fea.

A wikipedia entry we posted a few days back says it’s John Lloyd Cruz, but a recent ABS-CBN interview featured Ruffa Gutierrez texting Piolo (or is it the other way around?) saying “he wants to work with her in a movie or a soap”… Could this be an insinuation that Papa Piolo could be it?

Hmmn.. we’re still hoping it’s John Lloyd cause we know that Papa Piolo’s (as if we’re close to Papa P, ahihi!) busy shooting a movie with Angel Locsin, a follow-up of their Lobo project.

Anyway, Armando or not, we love you, Papa Piolo!!!

The Sexiest FHM Sexiest

It’s no secret that Filipina women exude an appeal so “exotic” that men gravitate towards them. The modern Pinay is a contradiction, a go-getter who could be painfully shy, career-oriented yet, could also be the most domesticated person. No wonder Pinoys find their women sexy.

Just look at the FHM and any other magazines designed for men, and look at how the sexiest polls go… or, how sexy stars’ used bikinis sell like hotcakes at online auctions (as if they’re mega stocks in the market). Thanks to FHM, Pinays are hotter than ever.

Over the years, since its launch here in the Philippines, one Pinay is regarded as the sexiest — the Philippines’ finest, they call it. But the question is, who among the FHM sexiest(s), is the sexiest?

Is it Angel Locsin, the girl-next-door turned superhero turned she-wolf? Or Katrina Halili, the seductress black darna? Or the sweet, innocent-looking mermaid, Marian Rivera?

Angel Locsin has graced countless magazines, and the most daring yet is not from FHM, but from the women’s magazine, Cosmopolitan, where she donned a maillot swimsuit. She has maintained a clean image, most likely because of her inert goodness.

Katrina Halili, on the other hand, is one lady oozing with appeal. She has eyes that talk, (more like a gaze that allures), an honest opinion. She has also appeared as covergirl, even calendar girl, in magazines, and has effectively risen from being a starstrcuk wannabe to a super kontrabida.

And last, there’s Marian Rivera, GMA network’s hottest star, an overnight sensation thanks to Marimar. Marian is currently FHM’s sexiest, the Philippines’ finest for 2008… and, she’s even broken a record cause she’s the first to be the sexiest non-FHM covergirl. No wonder Pinoys (and Pinays) are eager to know more about her.

Well, we find them all sexy, gorgeous, and talented! Seems that they represent the new breed of Pinays — one’s pretty much an angel, the other a hot devil, and then the other, a fantasy..

But that’s just us… and, we’re no guy (this explains why we sound so biased, “first paragraph-wise”, hehe! ).

So who’s the sexiest…

PS: Dont you people think that its gonna be a treat if Angel, Katrina, and Marian would appear together as covergirls in FHM. For December, maybe?
