John Prats loves Hugo in Betty La Fea?

I heard that John Prats is gonna be in I Love Betty La Fea. He’s gonna be my fave Hugo’s boylet (Hugo is the gay creative director in EcoModa and is being played by fafa Thou Reyes).

Anyway, 4G’s been getting great ad placement in Betty La Fea, noh? Thanks to Bea, of course. It’s almost as if the agency has no other client than that now, since their first (the sunblock one)… Am expecting that their next client would be Biogesic (for John Lloyd, lol), or maybe Rajo Laurel (for Ruffa). Or maybe, the advertising executives of the show could really shoot some deal and feature real products that could go from makeups, or gadgets, or auto parts franchises.

That’s gonna be big profit for them.

Now, go.

John Lloyd is Armando in I Love Betty La Fea

The mystery man’s been revealed… now it can told. John Lloyd Cruz is Armando.

It’s not a surprise that John Lloyd is Armando in the Philippine franchise of Betty La Fea, “I Love Betty La Fea”. He is really the best guy for the role… and for many reasons.

John Lloyd is Bea Alonzo’s perennial onscreen partner. They have a solid foundation, and for a massive project like Betty La Fea, the kapamilya network, ABS-CBN, would benefit more from the tandem — proven, and with a super solid fan-base.

John Lloyd is the best fit for Bea in terms of looks. Not saying that John Lloyd would match Bea ala Betty (cause he’s super good-looking), but Bea has this frame that matches Papa Lloydee’s.

John Lloyd has proven himself to be versatile. And with the success of his most recent movie, A Very Special Love, he’s proven that he could do really really well in a romantic-comedy… cause it seems I Love Betty La Fea’s gonna be one fun ride.

ABS-CBN’s Marketing group’s a genius for keeping John Lloyd as Armando a mystery. Having kept it a mystery allowed Papa Lloydee to shine as himself in his last film, with the very charming Sarah Geronimo. Plus, they’ve created a hype already, having people guessing who’s who, when it’s obvious who’s gonna be who.

PS: Bea and Papa Lloydee really look good together, dont you think?

I Love Betty La Fea (video teaser)

ABS-CBN network has released, in primetime tonight, the teaser for I Love Betty La Fea (see video below c/o piefries). This new kapamilya comedy serye features Bea Alonzo, as Betty, and no less than beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez, as the antagonist Daniella.

Also in the cast are Ai-ai delas Alas, Sam Concepcion, Ronaldo Valdez, Vhong Navarro, Wendy Valdez, and Maegan Young. The pinoy Betty La Fea is directed by Wenn Deramas.

I Love Betty La Fea is the Pinoy version of the hit columbian telenovela, Yo soy Betty, la fea (I am Betty, the ugly one). The American version is known as Ugly Betty.
