it’s the battle of the sexes.. okay, it’s not. I just got carried away. See, talent manager and talk show host Boy Abunda and artist Marian Rivera have this “drift” (if you can call it that). It’s actually something “made-up” cause it’s not true at all. Rumor that people spread — like adding fuel to the fire that “Boy” lighted when he contradicted Kris’ statement in The Buzz that Marian’s the biggest star today.

… well, she has lots of projects, yes, but being controversial is way different from being the biggest. In a few years, maybe. Who knows? She has the potential to be on top anyways cause she’s pretty, she’s gutsy, she’s hardworking, and she’s willing to do everything.

Kris Aquino Returns at The Buzz?

Will Kris Aquino make a comeback at The Buzz? — this is the latest “buzz”…

Now that Cristy Fermin’s out of the kapamilya’s Sunday chismis show, there have been talks on who’s gonna take her place… Last Sunday, it was Aiai delas Alas who was guest co-host, she’s Boy Abunda’s talent (i think), she’s good but she just made funny antics all throughout the show kasi eh…

And then Ruffa Gutierrez was interviewed, and she said if there’s someone who’s fit to replace Cristy, that would be Kris — only Kris. Tonight’s showbiz news also showed Kris all mum about whether she’s gonna be back at The Buzz soon…

If I were to choose, I would also want Kris back. I like her.  She speaks her mind, yes, but she speaks from the heart.

Ploning on The Oscars

Ploning

Ploning is the official entry of the Philippines in the Oscars 2009 (Foreign Language Film Category). The film got selected by the Film Academy of the Philippines last August 29.

We heard Boy Abunda announced it in The Buzz, the first announcement he made even… and if this is true, wow, congratulations to Judy Anne Santos, Dante Garcia, and to each and every man and woman involved in the making of the film!

Maybe predictions about Ploning being in the Oscars could be a reality…

If Ploning makes it, it is a first, if we’re not mistaken and for that alone, super astig!

Ploning is produced by Jourdan Sebastian and Guia Gonzales, and directed by Dante Nico Garcia (who also wrote the film, along with Benjamin Lingan. It was distributed by Panoramanila Philippines.
