Charice and Intrigues
Lately, there have been intrigues about Charice (and her mom) — something like, her mom is meddling too much on her personal life and that they have asked Oprah to help the Ondoy victims.
Anyway, they said there is no truth to the rumors, and that the help they have given to the Ondoy victims came from their sponsors and their own pockets… that they never asked for help, and would rather wait for people to volunteer to help. There. End of story.
I dont know why there are people who wanna throw nega vibes to this young woman… She’s making us all proud — she’s one of those rugs to riches people we all admire.
Why dont we all just be happy for her… let’s all just support her.
Sexy Hair for Charice
Yes, am loving Charice Pempengco’s new look… very sexy (without the fat burners of course!), really very sultry. Me likey!
… makes us realize that Charice is now a lady, that in her interview at “The Buzz” (with Kris Aquino), our young international singing sensation even revealed that she does have an American suitor.. yihee.
Must be why she’s glowing… and who wouldn’t be — Charice has already finished her (christmas song) duet with American Idol runner-up David Archuleta; and then she’s part of the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” movie (earlier reported that she’s the voice behind a female chip — the songbird one), and of course, the “David Foster and Friends” tour.
Work it, girl… we’re all super proud of you.
ps: new do is lovely!
Martin Nievera and Lupang Hinirang
Concert King Martin Nievera is in yet another controversy, this time for his “arrangement” of the Philippine National Anthem.
Martin was chosen to sing Lupang Hinirang (over Lea Salonga, I believe) at the Pacquiao-Hatton match… and to the shock of a lot of people (and the delight of others), he somehow altered the arrangement of the anthem, which is illegal according to the National Historical Institute (NHI). Martin said it’s his interpretation of the song and that it’s what the Pacquiao team wanted.
NHI said that they would wanna talk with Martin, and that the singer should do a public apology (which he did not want to do).
Other singers of the National Anthem that got into the same (almost) controversy’s Christian Bautista, Jennifer Bautista, and Charice Pempengco.
Charice Sings US Anthem
… and Charice wowed the US crowd again.
How? Well, International Youtube sensation Charice Pempengco sang the US national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner” at this one baseball event in Los Angeles last April 13 (US time, of course). She was introduced as the “phenomenal young teen from the Philippines”.
… and what’s great about it is that she continues to bring some lovin account back to the Filipino pride bank.
Go Charice!!!
