Cristine Reyes is hot.

… and official hot, if I may say. This is after she got named as the sexiest woman for the year for the Philippines’ top men’s magazine.

I think this has to do with having the highest number of votes from guys (and maybe girls too!) all over the country. Incidentally, Cristine is also hot — controversy wise — for she’s involved in one that could break a glass tile. It’s got something to do with a text exchange with fellow artist RR Herrera… and Valerie Concepcion and Angelica Panganiban, and Pokwang. Basically, it’s a girl fight.. It’s all over at PEP, and a lot of readers there are on Cristine’s side. Well, a lot are praying that they’d be friends again, after all, they belong to just one family — showbiz, that is.

ABS-CBN has a new gag show, a sexy and obviously more mature version of the very successful and supercute kids gag show Going Bulilit.

The new show is Banana Split, and it features seven kapamilya sexy ladies — Angelica Panganiban (i like her in Iisa Pa Lamang, feisty!), Cristine Reyes, Roxanne Guinoo, Valerie Concepcion, Dianne Medina, RR Enriquez, and Princess Ryan. They’ll show of their wits and precious assets, most likely, while clad in bikinis and one-piece suits.

Expect October to be wild and fun!

Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo for Kahit Isang Saglit

The very first Asianovela.

Kahit Isang Saglit

That’s right… kapamilya network ABS-CBN is making history through Kahit Isang Saglit (trans. “Even for Just A Moment”), which they’ve been tagging as the very first Asianovela. The new tv series features Jericho Rosales (one of the finest actors of his generation) and the very beautiful Carmen Soo (model actress from Malaysia).

The show, which is a partnership between ABS-CBN and Double Vision Malaysia, also features the following actors: Albert Martinez, Christopher de Leon, Luisa Chong, Mark Lucelo, Amalia Fuentes, Cristine Reyes, Sharlene San Pedro, Wilma Doesnt, Malou de Guzman, and Empoy Marquez.

The show will premier tomorrow, and will air from Monday to Friday on Philippine tv via ABS-CBN’s primetime bida (after Iisa Pa Lamang), and in Malaysia on Saturdays and Sundays. The show is directed by Jerry Sineneng, and the late Gilbert Perez.

Eva Fonda, 16 on ABS-CBN kapamilya

ABS-CBN kapamilya network will soon be releasing the remake of Eva Fonda, 16, the movie (1976) that signalled the bomba era in the Philippines, and which launched the career of Ms. Alma Moreno.

The new Eva Fonda will star Cristine Reyes (title role), with Jason Abalos, Baron Geisler, Joross Gamboa, and Hazel Ann Mendoza.
