Amy is the Little Star Scholar of the Night!

August 24, 2008 · Filed Under tv · 1 Comment

First things first: Little Dreamer Kelly ends her stay at the Academy tonight after getting only 41.62% of the text votes. Risie stays with 58.38%.

Moving on, Pinoy Dream Academy little dreamer Amy is again, the Star Scholar of the Night! Cute little Amy sang “What’s Love Got to do with it” by Tina Turner.

Aside from the fact that she really hits the notes, she’s a super dancer as well. The crowd loved the way she grinds ala-Tina Turner! Hihihi, so cute…

Now, Nikki Gil had a special announcement — one, no one got the “needs improvement” mark, and two, there’s going to be a “Back to School” thingy for the expelled little dreamers of the academy. Two ex-little dreamers will be given the chance to return to the academy, and continue their music, dance, overall talent school til October 5.

School’s cool!

Philip and Amy, Little Dreamer Star Scholars (PDA 5th Gala Night)

August 11, 2008 · Filed Under tv · 2 Comments

Cutie Amy, from Las Pinas, and Philip, from General Santos, are the Star Scholars at the 5th Gala Performance for the Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 Little Dreamers.

Amy sang “One Moment in Time” and Philip, “We are the Champions”, in line with the gala night’s theme of “sports”. All the little dreamers talked about their favorite toys, as well as their bestfriends.

Kelly and Nikki are the scholars who got the dreaded “needs improvement” in their cards, but in the end, it was Nikki who got expelled. Awww, sad cause they’re among the cutest in the batch.

We love them :)

Update: Philip and Amy were given new bicycles for being the star scholars.
