Pieta presents Ryan Agoncillo

Ryan Agoncillo goes back to serious acting in Pieta, a tv adaptation of the award-winning movie (of the same title) by Carlo J. Caparas back in the 80s.
Here, Ryan plays Rigor, a real bad guy, a total pain in his mother’s ass, with the mom being played by the Cherry Gil. Krista Ranillo’s gonna play his love interest in the film. It’s an offbeat role, yes, but knowing Ryan (feeling close, lol), he can pull this off. Ive seen his Maalaala Mo Kaya episode where he played this almost taong-grasa looking guy, addict and all, and he’s good.
He’s a natural… and naturally good-looking too.

Aiko Melendez’ May-December Affair
Okay, before you think ill of Miss Aiko Melendez, the May-December Affair is for her much-awaited comeback via ABS-CBN’s “Your Song Presents: Someone Like You”. The pretty Quezon City councilor will be playing opposite dancefloor prince, John Pratts.
The Your Song feature’s said to be like Aiko (as Marge) and John Pratts (as Melvin) would be meeting at a bar, where Marge’s drowning herself drom depression cause of a breakup with her fiancee… then, they met (as we’ve said), and then decided to spend the night together.
Then, several years later, the two meet again, this time, as teachers… and the big question is if they’d fall in love this time.
Hmmnnn… we’re guessing they would. (Just for a happy ending!)
Nwei, Aiko is also set to do a Maala-ala Mo Kaya, kapamilya network’s longest drama anthology.
So many projects lined up for the sexy again, Aiko Melendez.

Maalaala Mo Kaya
If there’s one tear-jerker television show that’s been stuck in the hearts of the Filipino, for the longest, it’s ABS-CBN kapamilya’s Maalaala Mo Kaya. It’s been on-air for 17 years, imagine, that’s more than half this author’s life, so far.
It was my lola’s favorite show — never mind that she was then too old to really be sad (atleast temporarily). Lola’s gone, and Maalaala’s still here, paving way for more Filipino actors to be recognized both locally and internationally (like Roderick Paulate and Aiza Seguerra).
Now, Maalaala Mo Kaya celebrates it’s 17th anniversary with a new timeslot, that’s every Saturday night, 9:15 to 10:30 (after Pinoy Dream Academy). The beautiful Gretchen Barretto will premier the drama anthology in its new timeslot, with teasers portraying her as a poor woman married to a commoner (played by Tonton Gutierrez), who would see, to have an affair with the mayor (played by Philip Salvador).
If this is a “real” story, who could the letter sender be?
disclaimer: This is not Maala-ala Mo Kaya’s website. You might wanna check out abs-cbn’s website for Miss Charo Santos’ email if you wanna send them letters (stories about your life).
