Full House with Richard and Heart

So what’s your take?

Richard Gutierrez and Heart Evangelista are the stars in the GMA remake of the super hit Koreanovela Full House.

You think this will be as successful as GMA’s other remakes (particularly those done by Marian Rivera — Marimar)? I saw the trailer and well, all i could say is that I hope in the long run they would be able to pull it off, cause Full House is really one of the koreanovelas many (myself included) have enjoyed.

So far, just based on the trailer, I think they’re pushing it a bit too far — I mean comedy should atleast be natural, right? I guess that’s the problem with adapting famous koreanovelas, you lose “originality” in the process of building your “character”. I hope Heart wouldnt copy the original Jesse’s style and instead bring her bubbly self into the character. It’s like why change your style if it aint broken. Why do an rv repair to a van if it aint broken. Why alter your image just to suit the “old” character.

She’s fun and just as pretty anyway.

Maybe This Time with Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez

Former sweethearts Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez will be reunited (atleast on the bigscreen) soon, via the movie “Maybe This Time”.

It’s a co-production venture by Viva Films (for Anne) and GMA Films (for Chard)… based on reports, the shoot will start on April 27.

… GMA’s been airing a teaser for this movie — with Richard walking along the banks (Outer Banks? ) and then crosses path with this one girl… it has this mysterious feel to it, I even thought it’s Marian Rivera (cause of the hair).

… two old friends meet again. :)

Will Anabelle Rama “pull out” Richard Gutierrez from GMA 7?

Will she?

It started as a blind item — about a feud between a talent manager and a network executive over a hot actor… then Showbiz Juice named them as Anabelle Rama, Wilma Galvante, and JC de Vera. Well, I dont really know the issue but now, it seems to have blown out of proportion that Anabelle’s “threatening” to pull out all her talents from the kapuso network (just watched it on abs-cbn news).

And one of those talents happens to be Richard Gutierrez, undoubtedly GMA’s prized possession.

I wonder what’s gonna happen next.. For sure, Richard and Raymond (who was shown kissing Carla Humphries a few days back) are both welcome in ABS-CBN… and JC de Vera’s probably gonna do a comeback as well.

Anabelle’s a great businesswoman.. for sure, she will be able to handle this one..

Let’s all wait and see what’s gonna happen next.

Jomari Yllana is Antonio Banderas in Pinoy Zorro

GMA Kapuso has an upcoming primetime series and it’s Zorro.

It stars Richard Gutierrez as the “new” Zorro — more like a son of the original Zorro, which will be played by Jomari Yllana. He plays the role Antonio Banderas had, so he’s gonna be Spanish-speaking and all (or maybe just with an accept — Zorro got filipinized.. hehe!).

I guess GMA’s trying to focus on that action-drama theme now with some PDAs and a few love scenes (thanks to MTRCB). Maybe next time, our tv shows would do values formation-themed shows… we need more of that now.
