Piolo Pascual and Rosanna Roces in Manila
Please watch the film, Manila, by Directors Raya Martin and Adolfo Alix, Jr. The Film is part of the Official Selection, Festival de Cannes 2009; Official Selection, Moscow International Film Festival 2009; and the Opening Film in the Cinemalaya V.
Please do watch it.. You know, I’m really amazed with one of the Directors as I remember seeing him on campus back in the days (no, he doesn’t know me..). I remember when our batch (and probably the rest of the Masscom people in our school) got so excited when we heard that his student film, Ada, will be commercially produced. Melted my heart pendant jewelry, and our hearts. Hihihi.
Anyway, going back to the topic, Manila opens on July 22 in selected theaters — SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila, SM Fairview, Robinsons Ermita, Robinsons Galleria, Gateway, Trinoma, Glorietta 4, Sta. Lucia, SM Davao, SM Cebu, SM Pampanga, SM Taytay.
Released by Star Cinema, it stars no less than Piolo Pascual, Rosanna Roces, Jay Manalo, Baron Geisler, Alessandra de Rossi, Iza Calzado, Angelica Panganiban, Jiro Manio, William Martinez, Anita Linda, Marissa Delgado, Menggie Cobarrubias, John Lapus, Katherine Luna, Aleck Bovick, and Jon Avila.

Rosanna Roces in May Bukas Pa
After appearing in an indie film where she got herself crucified (for real), actress Rosanna Roces continues to thread the “faith” path via May Bukas Pa.
Osang appears as a not-so-kind mom who feels that her son, played by Ejay Falcon (PBB Teen Edition 2 winner), is a big burden to her.
Of course, having been familiar with the show, and this is my guess, they will obviously cross path with Santino and then their life wil miraculously turn around — to the better, of course.
I think Osang’s slowly getting her figure back (of course not the same as when she was in her prime)… if you wanna be like her, click here for appetite suppressants (joke!)… now seriously, i think having children in the house makes her fit, happy, and content. ![]()
Rosanna Roces in Pasang Krus
Osang got herself crucified!
It’s for her new movie, Pasang Krus.
I just saw the news and she showed her hand, well, palm with this “hole”-like sugat. She said she wanted the scene to be realistic, and since she’s already there, she decided that she be crucified “for real”! They just had to stop it because she’s already bleeding like mad.
The film’s written and directed by Buboy Tan… and is set to be released on April, for the Holy Week.
Heard this is one brilliant story.. an award for Osang, perhaps!
Hopefully!
