Bayani Fernando for President 2010!

After 2 days of President’s SONA, a lot of Filipinos either reacted pro or con to what she promised – again. What is most popular to what she said is the E-VAT. Many people think E-VAT is a burden, but what they don’t know is a lot is benefiting from this tax collection.

Anyway, that isn’t the topic today. It’s more of Chairman Bayani Fernando announcing he is really running for president this coming election. He was a guest in the morning show Good Times with Mo, Mojo, ang Grace Lee and he seem to have won the hearts of the listeners. His program in the MMDA as chairman of the Agency is giving the beneficiaries what they deserve.

Few of the things he discussed are the side-walk being cleaned and free to walk to, the U-turns that made the people reach their destination in shorter time than before, the walk way being more safe, the pedestrian crossing, the graffiti’s he’s cleaning up, the busses that he gave its own lane and dispatching time so as not to congest the EDSA, the motorcycles that is in the process they’re giving a lane too, for them to keep the street safe, wiping out the kotong MMDA’s, among others.

He also mentioned about the banks that accept payment if ever you’re issued tickets, its convenience, and how it would wipe out the kotong MMDA’s. What’s impressive about Chairman Bayani Fernando is his being knowledgeable of his program, as what DJ Mo Twister said.

Ask him about anything regarding the agency and he knows it. He has the political will to make the Philippines a great country again. He even said Philippines could be in the 2nd world country if there is what you can call it, with the cooperation of the people. Bottom-line is the people should have discipline, and that rules should be implemented. He said if rules are followed, people even get surprised at what the result came out to be, that he said things if given the chance to change for the better, it could be possible.

He was thankful to PGMA for giving him the position because he was able to learn the problems at the countryside as well, and if given the chance to be in the same position, he would do his best to help the country. Drawing from that interview, it can be concluded that he has the political will to make this country in its prime state again.

A lot of callers showed their support for Chairman Bayani if he runs, so it should be a taken as a sign, he has his supporters too. What he needs now is the machinery to get the message to the people.

If he gets more than enough supporters that could be enough to put him to the President’s sit. Let’s support MMDA’s program to make Philippines Gwapo again.
