“Loving” KC Concepcion — Richard Gutierrez

“Mapagmahal” (”Loving”)– this is what Richard Gutierrez answered when asked (by Toni Gonzaga, in Entertainment Live) about the thing he discovered about KC Concepcion during the filming of their movie, For the First Time. Fafa Richard even went on to say that when he first met KC, he thought she’s “suntok sa buwan” (hard to reach), but that his perception changed when he learned KC’s really a “simpleng tao” (simple person).

Toni then added that she could attest to what Richard said saying she once saw KC at the Pinoy Dream Academy, (if we remember it correctly, yeah, maybe the one that was shown last night).. and then said she saw KC hugging and being friendly with everybody, including streetkids .. awww. nice no? Maybe others could use a pointer, and be like her.

Anyways, KC’s first ever movie, For the First Time, under Star Cinema, will be having its premier on August 26 at the Cinemas 9 and 10, Megamall. Regular showing will be the day after.

KC Richard, For the First Time

When opposites attract…

We bet this sums up the story of Star Cinema’s latest film offering, “For the First Time”. The movie, part of the outfit’s 15th anniversary, and stars “megadaughter” KC Concepcion, and the super handsome Richard Gutierrez, is being reported to be a story of two “headstrong people with two different concepts on how to live the perfect life” (abscbn).

KC would be playing a rich girl who likes to have everything planned; Richard, on the other hand, plays a “playboy” without plans, living life on day at a time. The two would meet in Greece, and would eventually fall in love (we’re guessing the obvious, lol).

But then the question would be how hard they’d fall… since Richard is a playboy who doesnt take his life seriously, and most likely, Richard’s not in KC’s plans (their characters pala).

So there, let’s all just wait for the playdate, so we could watch KC and Richard…

… for the first time. Hehehe.

Marian Rivera - John Lloyd Cruz Movie?

Will Marian Rivera and John Lloyd Cruz be doing a movie together?

Cause if reports in Pinoy tabloids are to be believed, this is a possibility. Latest showbiz buzz is that the two are going to tie up in a movie, part of the deal, since Regal’s Mother Lily supposedly allowed Angel Locsin to play part in a Star Cinema movie (we think this is the one with Piolo Pascual).

Meaning, Mother Lily allowed Angel in exchange for John Lloyd appearing in a Regal film with GMA kapuso network princess Marian Rivera.

Hmmnn.. could be a sweet tandem since John Lloyd’s proven himself as an “independent” actor already (that he could get people to see him even without his eternal onscreen partner Bea Alonzo), especially now that he proved he could do another box office hit with A Very Special Love, opposite Sarah Geronimo.

We think the two, Marian and John Lloyd, would look good on screen together… so if ever the rumors are true, things would get pretty interesting down the kapuso-kapamilya mergers.

So what’s the team up gonna be called then?

Marloyds? Lloydrians? Marjohns?

Hehehe.

Sarah and John Lloyd, A Very Special Love

The wait is over! A Very Special Love, Star Cinema’s latest offering starring Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo and Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz, will have it’s Red Carpet Premier on July 29, 7pm, at SM Megamall Cinema 9 & 10. The movie will have run in theaters nationwide a day after, July 30.

Sidenote, in yesterday’s The Buzz, host Ruffa Gutierrez asked Sarah to dedicate a line from the song “A Very Special Love” to her co-star John Lloyd. Her line: “You’re not like the rest, I know you’re one of the best”. John Lloyd feels the same.
