Twist and Shout
Well, shake it up, baby, now… Twist and shout!
ABS-CBN’s newest game show, Twist and Shout, is super fun. Hosted by no less than Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera, it’s almost like The Singing Bee, but with more twists (like they have to sing while running, or on top of a volcano lol).
It’s got two teams competing against each other, where they have to sing their way through to the next rounds. Nina, Juris, and Richard Poon won!
PS: I wonder what diet supplement Frenchi’s having, she’s losing weight… Also, I’m loving Bugoy’s new nose. He looks good.
Richard Gomez to host Family Feud?
Okay, so I heard that Richard Gomez is set to host the Philippine version of Family Feud, now that kapuso network GMA 7 acquired a franchise of it.

Now, that’s great news for the fans of the actor, especially cause being a host means the show is “yours”, and you’re not just an actor playing a supporting role (not that it’s bad, sometimes, it’s even better). Well, if this proves to be true, I hope he’d do a good job as host (just like Cesar Montano in The Singing Bee, with matching waving of the hand!).. I think, though, that he would be a perfect choice for shows ala-Fear Factor (too bad, it’s in channel 2, not to mention Ryan Agoncillo looks really fierce as a host there, wow) or Survivor, cause, hmmn, the guy’s strong and athletic.
Anyway, i wonder what the show will be called? Pampamilyang Bangayan (trans. family feud)?
Hahaha!

The Singing Bee Ends
… temporarily!!!
atleast that’s what the show’s trying to project in its CBB (closing billboard!)… Okay, that’s a bit of a jargon but a CBB is what appears after the main show. Tonight’s episode showed “the singing bee” singing the “theme song” and then segue to a teaser of an even longer air time the next.. “zoon”…
For its last episode, host Cesar Montano had the Pinoy Dream Academy Top Six scholars as guests.. The three guys (Miguel, Van, and Bugoy) got in, plus Liezel, who eventually won, and competed against the “winner” (I think Jen’s the name of the show’s first season final winner). Unfortunately, she did not win. Aww. Sayang.
Miguel also had a bit of a past (how true?) with one of the “singers”, Apple, and they even did a duet.. PDA Headmaster Ryan Cayabyab also did a duet with Mel Villena. Teacher Monette’s also present.
We’re hopin’ that it’s not the final countdown yet for The Singing Bee!!!
… cause we’ll sure miss Frenchie, and her partner, the diva guy with the ever changing hairstyle, Apple, Michael, the hiphop guy, and the girl who sings rnb.
Love the show!
PS: How about featuring bloggers in The Singing Bee? Hehehe..

Vice Ganda in The Singing Bee
The Singing Bee’s fun to watch, an avid viewer here since it started (when host Cesar Montano’s still a bit stiff, probably trying his way around.. Now, he’s okay, has gotten way better!), but the past few days had been its funniest, thanks to Vice Ganda.
It’s super hilarious! Vice Ganda is really funny, he has this way of making things “light”, even on times he doesnt know the song and she goes a-chanting.. Plus, Vice has these super long legs making him unbeatable… Laugh trip! He’s the best, super! Now a fan!
The Bee Buzz: When Vice was up against Bodie, he turned a bit quiet… so am guessing Bodie must be really cute in person, kaya Vice Ganda turned super shy all of a sudden. Chos!
Here’s hoping that Vice Ganda gets the million peso jackpot!
Lovin Vice!
