Pambansang Kamao, Manny Pacquiao, is unstoppable.

He’s a boxer, a student, an entrepreneur, a soon-to-be politician (?), and now, a teleserye star!

Yes, before his match with boxer Ricky Hatton (scheduled on May 2), think he would have already begun shooting for Totoy Bato, one of GMA kapuso network’s teleseryes for 2009 . Manny will be playing a boxer (which he plays best, of course), to be trained by Eddie Garcia…

Robin Padilla also plays part in the show as a boxer. Regine Velasquez would most likely be the love interest (alangan namang boxer din, devah?). :D

It reminds me of this cute movie featuring the three leads — Till I Met You.

Kapuso GMA Network New Shows for 2009

Good news for all Kapuso (no translation for “kapuso”, it’s some lovin term for lovers of local tv network GMA 7)! The Kapuso Network has got a lot of new shows lined up for the first quarter of 2009.

You want Paolo Contis’ abs, of course you wont see it daily, but you’d see the guy in his new show, “My Dad is Better than Your Dad”. Fans of on- (and off-?) screen lovers Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes will be happy to know that they’re back in “Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang”.

Starstruck ultimate loveteam (most successful) Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras has “Paano Ba ang Mangarap”, while Robin Padilla and, I believe, Manny Pacquiao have “Totoy Bato”. Of course, Richard Gutierrez has “Zorro”.

Oh diba? GMA has prepared a lot for their loyal viewers.
