Please do watch it.. You know, I’m really amazed with one of the Directors as I remember seeing him on campus back in the days (no, he doesn’t know me..). I remember when our batch (and probably the rest of the Masscom people in our school) got so excited when we heard that his student film, Ada, will be commercially produced. Melted my heart pendant jewelry, and our hearts. Hihihi.

Anyway, going back to the topic, Manila opens on July 22 in selected theaters — SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila, SM Fairview, Robinsons Ermita, Robinsons Galleria, Gateway, Trinoma, Glorietta 4, Sta. Lucia, SM Davao, SM Cebu, SM Pampanga, SM Taytay.

Baron Geisler versus Yasmien Kurdi

Baron Geisler faces yet another charge, this time, from actress Yasmien Kurdi.

Yasmien filed charges against Baron for acts of lasciviousness and unjust fixation. This, after Baron did some things I’d rather not mention in front of Yasmien — which was witnessed by her PA and co-actress Jennylyn Mercado. All these while they were shooting for Suspetsa, an upcoming SRO Cinemaserye.

A few months back, Yayo Aguila and William Martinez’ daughter Patricia filed a case against the actor cause of a bar incident. Which makes this the second of such complaint — and maybe, aside from the fact that Baron needs good Mesothelioma lawyers, no, i meant defense lawyers, to get out of this thing… or maybe, a psychiatrist or a counselor. All these could be a cry for help, for all we know.

History repeats itself until we learn our lesson.

Yep, cause the Diamond Star is back to entertain us, or shall I say, to make us cry via a remake of no less than the Queen Susan Roces’ Florinda. It’s part of kapamilya network ABS-CBN’s Susan Roces Cinema Collection, the first two of which were topbilled by Kris Aquino and Claudine Barretto. Maricel Soriano is the lucky third.

ABS-CBN reports that Florinda is “about a woman who loves unconditionally and who will do anything to fight for what she believes in” and, that it’s all about mystery and secrecy.. Hmmn… kinda like my story? Hehehe… Joke.

Also in the cast are Cherry Pie Picache (who we adore in Iisa Pa Lamang!), fafa Jay Manalo, William Martinez, pretty Roxanne Guinoo, our fave Nikki Gil, and Zanjoe Marudo.

So how will the story unfold? Secret!!! (Secrecy daw kasi eh, hehehe)
