Shake your TV with TV5


Goodbye ABC, and hello TV5!

Yep, ABC5, the network that’s brought us shows like Wow Mali!, Shall we Dance, and Philippine Idol has temporarily said goodbye to its airtime… and today, it’s gonna be replaced with MBP Primedia, Inc.’s TV5.

A quick click on the tv remote today on channel 5 gives viewers a “timer” teaser on the new TV5 which would have it’s launch tonight at 7pm (timer says so).

Now, if you’re wondering what the newest network’s gonna offer, they’ll have shows like Talentadong Pinoy to be hosted by Ryan Agoncillo; Mys Match, a dating game with Iya Villania and Archie Alemania; reality shows Philippines’ Scariest Challenge and MyMVP with Jason Webb, Bayani Agbayani, and Coach Norman Black.

Some familiar shows include Shall We Dance, still with Lucy Torres-Gomez (but improved, as they say!) and Batang X (directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes).

TV5 will be a long-term blocktimer of ABC5, something like Eat Bulaga (which is a block timer in GMA7), only, it’s not just a show, it’s a barrage of shows (making it a complete channel).

Get ready to shake your TV with TV5!

    >sana ipalabas nyo po ung EWOKS matgal na rin po un pero ndi pa nauulit sa tv.
